I am coming to the sad reallization that there really is no "reality" with J.W's. Within their group, all can be comfy and cozy, but put them out to view by "the world," and their comfort zone disappears.

So many people, for so many years have said "until they see it for themselves," until "it happens to them," there will be no helpling.

Most are actually cold hearted... I say that because, altho I had so many friends, not many will even discuss 607, or "if they are led by God's spirit, why are there mistakes?" If someone died because they refused to be "cannibals" and get an "organ transplant," and the next day "the policy" changed, the only thing you will hear is "at least they died loyal.' That is psychopathic. When you cannot have empathy. When you cannot get mad, because you are "not supposed to or you have a bad attitude, or maybe now YOU are an apostate" because you see the hypocrisy.

Do the "Governing Body" care about pedophile cases? No. Psychopaths are very good at faking emotion, but when it comes down to it, it's not even about the money they lose, it's about "their image." Their "godly image."

They collect their jar of hearts, who do they think they are?

Regarding the Egibi business records? check out page 24, same WT, footnote at bottom of 2nd column.. written in oh so small letters:

You hit the nail on the head: (to Scholar) "How WT of you not to provide a specific reference"

This was one of the very things that had me running when I read those "two scholarly articles" of Oct & Nov of 2011..

Oct 1, 2011 WT, page 31, pgph 2 states "Why did Ptolemy omit some rulers? Evidently, he did not consider them to be legitimate rulers of Babylon (footnote 10)

So, I look at the footnote, knowing full well that:

in the past, the WT (and it's other publications that I have studied from childhood, over and over and over and over again) and the Bible, has listed all the kings, in order, for this time period.

What does this foot note say??? " "Some scholars contend that certain kings were ommitted by Ptolemy..."

Nothing... no list, no names, no nothing. A whole article, supported by nothing......

When people have the truth, they should be able to produce evidence.

Words like "evidently" and "some scholars" can be used by anybody at anytime, and prove nothing.....

again, I must happily reply,

Londo: Again, thx!!one of my children watched your whole series of videos, and it made them feel so much better in the manner of presentation.

This child is always having bad dreams of being sucked back into the WT, and this eased their mind with the logic, and sensibleness, and non-aggressive style.

I also think, that because you are so OPPOSITE OF THE WT, in that you do NOT do their thinking, OFFER THE CHOICE, and have them do "homework," and come to their own conclusions, people can have the dignity that every human should have...

The right to make up their ownmind about something ....... without fear of being disfellowshipped, shunned, cast off forever.... (kind of sounds like burning in hell, hmm?) all over a DATE! listen to that... a DATE that merely promotes the rule of the governing body.

Jesus never said you have to believe in a date, he simply said, "love your neighbor as yourself."

We really enjoyed your series, watched all of them.

I liked the info from Matthew 1:11, 12 regarding Jeconaiah, 11 Jo·si´ah became father to Jec·o·ni´ah and to his brothers at the time of the deportation to Babylon. 12 After the deportation to Babylon Jec·o·ni´ah became father to She·al´ti·el. .

You did a lot of hard work (that I also had planned on researching, but did not have the time) coordinating facts, and exposing the hypocrisy of "everyone had to be in Babylon before the 70 years began" garbage.

I think many can benefit from this well put together, objective, rational, and detailed video.

Can this logic be refuted?

i was an elder until march 2012 until i resigned.

i then stopped going to meetings in october 2012 and have enjoyed 9 months of freedom that i have found to be jouful!

i loved learning ttatt and sites like this and jwfacts.com have been excellent.. i told the elders that i needed a break and that they should not contact me unless it was a social visit and true to their word they have done that.

I agree with Don'tCallMeShirley, and all really...

We had a friend who died in the 60's because he refused a transplant. When the doctrine changed, it was "He was loyal to Jehovah, he'll be resurrected."

Now that we have 'faded,' we have tried to help several people, and most of the time, it gives them the shakes, they have no reply, are afraid of the answer, and they say "you should talk to an elder."

In our lifetime, we have seen elders, and the GB, support very weird actions in the congregation. You never know , even if you think you know, whow any individual, let alone a group of men (get them cornered...) will react.

I think, as many here have said, it is best to display that you are happy, content, have no problems... be as mysterious as you can...

Please listen to everyone... I thought I was an excellent "arguer of fact." When I spoke to a close one about 607, overlapping generations, end not 'imminent, Russel was crazy he couldn't be chosen by God, The Awake made a promise in God's name that the end would come before the end of the 20th century, and it didn't.....

They didn't care... they admitted they don't believe everything the Society ("those old men") teach, but....

1. They'll get corrected, Jehovah always does that.

2. Jehovah's always had an organization.

3. Who else is preaching the good news, using God's name?

4. (the best) "At least people will be ready"

Want to try the old "would you drink a glass of water with a drop of poison in it?" Does not even cause a blink of an eye.... That only appllies if you are talking to someone else about their religion. No illustrations apply back to the Society.

Do..... not.... do.... it.....

PS, when you need to make a "donation" (if you go any more at all, tell your wife you'll take care of it, and drop something else in)

hello ,i am a jw,been in the "truth " for about 6 years.i have to be very careful because i know the witnesses monitors sites and report to the elders ,i know cause that is what my blood sister does,she spends hours trying to find apostates in the closet.i know stuped.. so this is my situation.i have known about jw almost all my life and heard that only them have the truth,lots of my family are in it.i was the one taking too long to baptize ,i knew it was expected from me.and i always had a need to make ppl like me .so i took the dip.i started to notice that there are lots of jws that belong to little groups.i wanted friendship so bad and at the time had a need o tell ppl about my horrible childhood traumas i guess i was not over it yet,and needed some to lisent since i had drove my spouse nuts already .what happend this ppl pretend to want to be close to me so they can know all my business and then tell everyone at the hall.then you realize uhhh,they never confided their personal stuff to me.is like a game " you can tell me your stuff,but do not expect me to keep it to myself and do not think i will tell you my dirty laundry.a lot of mind games.. so i was alone ,invisible ,i still can't believe i put up with so much !

i can't wright not even half of what i when through.i feel paranoic now.so i came across a youtube video by jwstruggle and blow my mind ,now i can't stop researching,my spouse is not a jw,and is very shock too.so i decided that i want to fade,i guess it won't be so hard since the sis and brothers did not had a close relationship with me.i have kids and i suffer from pts ,anxiety attacks,panick attacks and severe depression.i moved to the next town of my hall,so i have change hall too.i have not been to my new hall,and wanted to know,will the elders in my old hall contact the elders in my new hall just to see if i am attending?..

my spouse told me " i will tell them i am not letting you go" "and "i found out that your liars!

As someone who has made many "friends" within the org, I will say.... now that I have faded.... Where are my friends?

I now have a different job, and the people at work are truly nice.

You will make new friends, and you have your wife and children. (You still have your people skills, right?)

You can spend time with your family, treasure them, enjoy them.

You would not be able to do that within the Org. You would be kept too busy, right?

The least amount you say to the congregations (don't answer phone calls, don't answer the door, just relax) the easier it gets. Very relaxing.

Enjoy your new life!

i really do and i am in fear that she is literally losing touch with reality to some degree.. even my father is telling me that her responses to me are growing weirded:.

the scriptures tell us that we can be wrathful.......but don't sin.
